① Dj Click (Paris, FR)

The all-terrain music explorer was together with Shantel part of the Bucovina revolution, turning Eastern Europe tunes into electrifying dance classics. He became the world's most representative producer in the world music scenario of the last decade, bringing together artists like Rona Hartner and Transglobal Underground. His all-time dance classics travel along the great Gypsy cultures picking up influences in the far Persian East, Eastern Rom tunes, deep South flamenco compás and North-African trance grooves. Expect a dj-set with an amazing blend of rhythms from Delhi to Sevilla, right through the balkans and back to swingin' Paris.

Dj Click played recently at Couleur Café (BE), Sziget (HU), Roskilde (DN), Womad (NZ), Balkan Trafik (BE), Cape Town World Music Festival (ZA), Crossroads Festival Krakow (PL), Iboga Summer Fest (SP), Balkanik! (RO) before turning up for the very first time in Gent - at New Year's Eve, of all nights!

② Fanfare La Mort Subite (Grenoble, FR)

The legend goes Fanfare La Mort Subite found its origins in Guantanamo, when 3 bravehearts smuggled copper wind instruments into the prison. The brass band quickly gained discipline and respect and made their way out to Grenoble, where they found shelter for no less than fifteen (15) musician who play their heart out on, well, brass instruments, guitars and drums. Ever since they increased their repertoire from hiphop, funk, ska and Britney Spears torn to pieces to make you laugh, dance and feel good.

③ Mnsr Zéro (resident binair01)

Mnsr zér0 combines an expanded music collection from all quarters of our planet with traditional clubmix techniques. The sum of classical beatmatching and unconventional dancetunes results in a unique sound.

His sets are surprising blends of greasy balkan with a crazy gipsy wink, super tight electric cumbiabeats on eclectic afrolatinoriffs, hot Spanish nuevo flamenco melting on übercooled Scandinavian swinghip-hop, rumba Catalána versus African clubzouk, contagious ska infecting French jazz manouche, solid reggaetón devouring fragile tango, Arabian raps clashing with uptempo klezmer. His mixes always feature an exciting variety of rhythms and are a real relief for people addicted to dancing and searching for challenges beyond the simple beats of shallow radio hit music.
